This resource can be used as part of an enterprise initiative within the school, where the completed CD can be sold to yeargroup or class members, parents, other family members and staff.
The young people can experience enterprise activities by planning, designing and producing the yearbook, then run a real business and make a profit by selling the yearbook.
The software is designed to let you build your own interactive yearbook. If you would rather let us do it for you then simply send us the information you want to include and we'll send you back the completed CD or DVD.

Choose a colour scheme then add pages to each section. Use the photo index, or browse through the pages.
Once complete, the yearbook can be packaged and saved onto a CD for each student.

If your school has a digital camera or a scanner, and/or a digital video then this software provides everything you need to create your yearbook.  For example, you could:

Ask each student to write a short message, then use a microphone to record this into the programme

Take a photograph or a video clip of each student to display with their message

Ask the headteacher and other staff to contribute a message to the year group, and record this

Take photos or videos of school events

Create a lasting memory of your time at school which you can keep for years to come

The easy-to-use method of adding information is password protected and is designed to be easily updated by non-technical staff and students.
The Interactive Yearbook is ideal for enabling students to demonstrate and improve on their existing ICT skills. It encourages creativity and digital media awareness, and everyone has an input into the finished product.   It can be completed in a short time frame (2-3 weeks) or planned over a school year.
